Grell entered his home through the garage after throwing his skateboard back where he kept it, and went to feed his cats and play some video games before his parents came home with word of his expulsion and went absolutely mental.

Elizabeth headed home and got changed out of her uniform. As she did, the pocket knife fell out of her pocket. With a confused look, she picked it up an examined it.

It must’ve been that redhead…moving it to the desk, she laid it there and changed into a pair of leggings and a shirt, then went to her bed to read a book.

"I can’t believe this has happened to you again. You’ve been expelled from every school we’ve sent you to, and now you get yourself expelled from the only one that’ll accept you?! What did you do this time?"
"I didn’t do anything, the principal’s just got a stick up his ass," Grell groaned, "Can I go now?" he stood to leave the table.
"Sit right back down, young man, we are going to talk about this until you bloody straighten yourself out!!" Grell’s father snarled.

Elizabeth eventually fell asleep although was woken up by her billet mom calling out to her, telling her that it was supper time.

Crawling of the bed, she wiped her eyes and went to the dinner table.

Grell was kicked out of the house by his parents, with nothing but his mobile phone, his skateboard, about £10 in cash in his wallet and the clothes on his back. It was getting dark and he had no where else to go.

Elizabeth went out for a walk after supper, just like she always did,

Grell thought about Elizabeth- almost praying she would walk by or give him a call- though it was unlikely. He skated down to the corner shop at the end of the road and bought a pack of energy drinks, tobacco and a box of chocolate cereal to keep him going for the night.

Elizabeth had a few dollars in change so she decided to go to the corner store, walking into the shop, she picked up a box of chips a can of doctor pepper and some gummy candies.

Grell was paying for his things when he heard the shuffling of feet behind him in the corner shop, and he turned to see Elizabeth.

As she went up to the counter, she looked over to the door when she heard a cat call. Looking at the person, she saw how it was that guy who squeezed her butt earlier that day, she frowned and turned back to the counter.

Grell turned hearing the cat call and his face twisted into a snarl. He turned to Elizabeth, “Hey,” Grell mumbled, his eyes darting back and forth from the door.

"Hi," she said quietly, looking at him,

"What’re you doing here this late?" he mumbled.

"Picking up some junk." She responded, holding up the the can of doctor pepper.

"Right…and…who invited that asshole?" he cocked his head towards Macaulay who stood outside smoking a cigarette.

Elizabeth looked over to the door and then shook her head. She didn’t really want to deal with this tonight.
"Not me."

Grell popped open his energy drink and took a swig, leaning in to Elizabeth’s ear, “Did you get what I put in your pocket earlier?” he whispered.

Elizabeth listened as. He whispered Ito her ear, she nodded slightly,
"Kinda hard to miss." She whispered back quietly.

"What did you do with it?" he whispered back, rolling a cigarette with the tobacco he’d bought in his other hand.

Elizabeth looked at him,
"On my desk at home, w-why?" She gave him a confused looked and noted the guy had walked in.

Point of No Return

John Owen-Jones and Tabitha Webb (alt)

London June 23, 2011

I’d like to say, John did a lot of apple-porn of his own. Tabitha’s approach was quite subtle here. She preferred to go with the “still water run deep” method, which worked really nice. John was splendid, as usual, and my pants (well, stockings, actually. I wore a dress) mysteriously vanished.

Elizabeth grinned,

"Heh, that’s a cool name," she looked at him,
"Nice to meet you, Clever."

"Nice to meet you too, Elizabeth. As for my name, I guess for some people. Me, I just see it as a name. Nothing more or less to it."

"Yeah?"

Theater Challenge - Costumes 1/3: Christine’s “Star Princess” dress from The Phantom of the Opera, designed by Maria Björnson

As I had done a bit of designing for opera, I was very familiar with the period and already had a lot of costume references. The Degas drawings of Girls at the Paris Opera House and etchings of the famous opera balls were also a huge inspiration.

VOILA!  Colourscheme’s Star Princess!  I can’t wait for her to get it! :D

This costume took SOOOOOSOSOSOSOSO much more labor than I originally though (I always underestimate, always) but I am ecstatic with how it turned out.  Like I could stand on top of a building and shout about it, I’m so happy with it!

And I’m super thankful to her for commissioning me to do what I love most - make Phantom costumes.  My dream!

Stupid.
That’s what she was. Stupid because who else would walk to an abandoned warehouse in the middle of the night? Her friends had promised to meet her there, but Rose was beginning to think they weren’t coming. Something crashed from somewhere inside the…

Elizabeth was walking on her way to work, her green gown hung close to her curves, although it was right, it had a bit of a poof at the waist down.

Looking up when she saw a girl chase after her she smiled softly,
"The time? Oh, it’s ihm…" She thought for a moment, then took out her pocket watch.
8:00 am. ” she smiled softly, although she couldn’t help notice her off clothing.

Rose glanced down self-consciously at her clothes. She was wearing jeans, a t-shirt and a sweater that advertised her favorite sports team; her typical outfit. If anyone was wearing strange clothing, it was the lady she was talking to. Come to think of it, everyone on the street was wearing strange clothing.

Rose raised her eyebrows at the pocket watch. Was there some kind of weird reenactment going on here she didn’t know about? Or a fancy party? That would explain the clothing. Surely there would be something online about it. She patted her pockets, then realized she must have dropped her phone in the warehouse. She mumbled a thanks to the girl, and took two steps closer to the warehouse before stopping dead in her tracks. The abandoned warehouse was no longer abandoned. A few people were walking in, and it looked new. But that was impossible!

She turned back towards the lady she was talking to, “This is going to sound silly, but what year is it?” She asked, almost afraid of the answer.

Elizabeth was just about to walk away when the lady spoke again, she looked at her,
"It’s 1885," she responded,
"Don’t worry, it’s hard to remember years for me too sometimes!" She laughed lightly.

Rose nearly laughed, but then she realized the other girl was being serious.

"1885," She  repeated quietly. "You’ve got to be kidding me." Her knees felt weak, and she stumbled a little. She wanted to believe that this was all a very elaborate joke, but the proof was all around her. Nobody could set all this up and rebuild a warehouse around her that fast.

No, she was lost in the past, not knowing anyone, and without a definite way to get back home. It was a lot to take in.

"Do you know where-" She faltered. They did have hotels in 1885, right? She pressed her fingers against her temples, suddenly feeling very sick. She didn’t bring any money anyways. "Is there somewhere nearby I can stay the night?" She asked, attempting to harden her resolve.

Elizabeth looked at her, thinking for a moment,
"There are a few bed and breakfast." She stated.

Rose searched her pockets, “Unless they accept pocket lint and a Tic Tack, I don’t think I can stay there.” She said, smiling sadly. “Oh well. Thanks anyways. I’ll just…” She gulped, looking around. “Stay here, I suppose. Unless there’s anywhere else?”

Elizabeth looked down the road,
"Try the opera house, they’re always hiring new people, with that you get a place to stay."

Rose tried not to sigh. At least it was something. She nodded, then realized she had no idea where anything was in this timeline.
"Um, where is the Opera house?" She asked.

Elizabeth smiled softly,
"Well, I work there, so you can follow me." She responded.

"Great, thanks." Rose said, attempting to smile back. Just because she was in the wrong timeline didn’t mean she should be rude. Maybe she still had a chance to get back home.

Elizabeth motioned to follow her and began walking.

"Follow me, madame!"

Rose cast one last longing look at the warehouse, and jogged after the lady. She decided now would be a good time for a proper introduction. “My name’s Rose, by the way. How far away is it?” She asked, starting to miss modern public transport.

Elizabeth shrugged,
"Five minute walk." She stated,
"I’m Elizabrth."
